Changes and refunds

Payment triggers two things straight away: turf is booked from the field for your date, and your delivery or collection day is reserved (meaning the day, not a time). That day may then be closed to other customers, so check your order carefully before paying.

Order by 2pm the working day before your delivery or collection at the latest, but please order as far in advance as you can to avoid disappointment. On occasion, later ordering may be possible where a date shows as available.

Let us know as soon as possible through our contact form, with your order reference. Where it's reasonably possible we'll help, perhaps by moving the day if there's space, but a change can't be guaranteed.

If some rolls can't go down on the day, lay them out flat, grass upwards, in a shady spot and water them.

Turf is perishable and cut to order, so we don't refund a change of mind.

Orders are counted out to the number paid for, each roll covering about 1 m². Do your own count before leaving the collection point, or after delivery and before laying anything. Problems should be reported that same day, with a photo.

Harvesting by machine leaves some edges ragged and the occasional roll in pieces. That's normal, and it joins up after laying and watering.

If weather or a problem on our side stops your turf being ready or delivered on the day, we'll be in touch to agree another day.
