Each roll covers about 1 m² and measures about 2.4m × 0.4m. Rolls are rounded up.
Awkward shapes
Break the lawn down into rectangles and add a row for every one. For a round or curved lawn, measure it as the rectangle it fits inside, then choose +10% if the edges curve a lot. A path or patio running through the lawn can simply be left out of the measurements.

How much extra should I order?
About 5% covers trimming on most lawns. Go for 10% if the lawn has curves, lots of corners or beds cut into it.
