Before the turf goes down
Building work leaves compacted soil, rubble and sand behind. Dig it out, break up the ground, add topsoil where it's thin and level everything before laying.
If we're laying it for you, builders' rubble is priced separately on your quote.

When should I order?
For the day the ground is ready to lay. Order by 2pm the working day before your delivery or collection at the latest, but please order as far in advance as you can to avoid disappointment. On occasion, later ordering may be possible where a date shows as available.
Can you clear up after the builders?
A turf laying quote can cover lifting the old surface and removing waste. Builders' rubble is a separate cost.
